The 'in' thing is Cyber Monday! That's right, sit on your couch in your PJs sipping coffee and still hit some of the best sales around!
So Thanksgiving evening myself and the kiddo got bored. We decided that we'd go to Walmart, see if we could catch any pre-Black Friday sales and avoid the crowds. Since I'm fairly wrapped up in my own little world right now...I had no idea that Walmart was going to begin their sales at 10pm on Thanksgiving! WTH?!
I swear to gawd, we eventually left because I started to fear for my daughter's safety. I'm not even kidding right now. She's got the big belly, ya know. And people were pushing and shoving and elbowing and exhibiting all sorts of other completely unbelievable behavior that adults just should not engage in.
I was seriously concerned that she (or I) would get hurt! These people were nuts! There were some good deals to be had, but not THAT good!
We left, and I'm taking this as a lesson learned.
From now on, it's only Cyber Monday for me!
