Oh Hubs Is Gonna LOVE Me...

Being as its Valentine’s Day and all, I decided today would be the perfect day to tell you guys about a kick ass little resource I found. Before I do, lemme tell ya why I was looking for this kind of thing in the first place.

Now you all know that sometimes things get a little stale. And I’m not talkin’ about the day-old bread-if ya know what I mean. Statistically speaking, should a marriage end in the big D, it will happen somewhere around year 2, year 7 and year 20. So guess where Hubs and I are.

Yep, year 7.

Now I don’t anticipate our marriage ending or anything. Assuming he remember to take out the trash tonight. And I don’t think either of us have the true “Seven-Year-Itch” or anything. But what we do have is a crazy schedule, a teen and a tween, work stress, a dirty house, in-law BS and exhausted bodies.

Things wane.

It’s a fact of life and marriage.

And it’s a fact, that blows.

SO…I went searching for some ideas and advice to spice up certain aspects of our-Ahem-schedule.

One of the things I found surprised the hell outta me.

It’s this:

Eden Cafe

That’s right, EdenCafe, an unexpected part of EdenFantasys. I was floored. Srsly, guys-you gotta check this out. It’s real people, dealing with real-life stuff, blogging and commenting to help each other out. They have sections for Families, Body Image and Health, Couples, Porn, Kinks-you got it, you can find information and someone to connect with right here!

You wouldn’t believe just how many people are experiencing the same thing Hubs and I! While you’re there-check out their giveaways! One of the prizes might be just the needed ‘pick-me-up’!

I’ve gleaned tons of ideas, have some new tricks up my sleeve, and have been able to surprise the holylivincrap outta Hubs.

Let’s just say things are… looking up. *wink, wink*

  2. OOooooOOOOH! Sounds like a fun place to hang out :-) Thanks for being brave enough to post about it :-) Hubby & I are nearing year 20, and some days things are really stressful. We remind ourselves to take care of the pet peeves (trash, muskrats in the shower drain, putting the toilet lid down - now if I could get him to quit turning on the t.v. or stereo and LEAVING THE ROOM, chapstick in the laundry)!

  3. I have to admit, it did take some guts! I plan to post more though. I realized when I was trying to write this post that you have to be in a certain mood to write about getting in the mood-and if blogging about it will help, I'll do it!
