It made me think. There are so many things I still want to do in life. I've been finding myself without motivation lately. Feeling down and a tad depressed, lazy and lethargic.
If I want to accomplish more of these things I need to get off my ass! Seriously start working. On myself and on the savings account. Our kids will be leaving for college in the visible future and the hubs and I will have the house to ourselves and more freedom that we've ever known. I think this list looks like a good place to start.

Which of these have you done? Which do you want to do? There are many that I'd like to add. I'd love to do most of the things listed here. Ok, I might be too old to play in a band and maybe not the skydiving or bungee jumping and if I never killed and prepared an animal I'd still feel complete. I'd swap those for things like traveling by RV or reaching 100 blog followers, learning how to text message without punctuation and owning more than 10 pairs of shoes.
I have a 101 in 1001 list, and I am going slowly but surely through it. Just recently I went on an overnight trip with someone other than my parents (my best friend) and am still working on listening to an audio book. Looks like you've accomplished a lot more than me. Good work and continue to check off the goals on your list!
ReplyDeleteWe should do #32 together!
ReplyDeleteIs this your own personal list of 99 things you'd like to do, or a list someone sent to you and said "Everyone should do these 99 things"?
ReplyDeleteCrochet is DEFINITELY an art!!!! You go, girl!
Actually, I stole it from someone's blog. I can't remember where I found it. I've been holding on to it, waiting to have time to go though it and post it.
ReplyDelete#33- I have seen Niagara Falls in person and it is AMAZING..well worth the trip.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do any of your travel sites that I haven't seen. The Tower of Pisa, the Great Wall, Russia.
I *did* swim (waded) into the Great Salt Lake. Nastiest thing I've ever been into in my life.
It's like stagnant water. I couldn't bear to put my body all the way in. Feet in it up to the knees was enough.
The only thing that lives in the lake are these flies, and algae. It was absolutely the weirdest (grossest) thing I have ever experienced. It is beautiful from the air though.
I hope I NEVER get to hitch hike or have the need to be transported in an ambulance!!! :(
ReplyDeleteNice, you've done a lot.
ReplyDeleteNice, you really bought McDonalds for a homeless person. That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteSeen Niagara Falls but in the rain. Sort of disappointing when it is just a big fog.
